About USPA

Become a musician through professional lessons..

'Urja' as we have named...'the energy'..Energy as we all know, neither can be created nor destroyed but can only be converted. Indian culture in its own, shows miraculous energy and one such strong medium through which this energy gets projected is, our Indian classical art forms. We strongly believe that the classical Indian art forms have the 'Urja' of developing a strong belief system in one's own self..It sculpts the ideas, develops a thought process thus helping the students become a part of the Kala parampara of thousands of years.(cultural tradition)
Hence by training students in classical art forms like Tabla and Bharatnatyam,  we not just introduce two different art forms but also our rich Indian culture..and that's where we belive the 'Urja' gets converted.
Our institution is located in the pure green surroundings of Mahatma society, Kothrud. A safe locality to approach with all the security, we have our own dance and music spaces.

We began training students in the year 2014 and have continued to pass on the 'Urja' to the on going and upcoming students every year.
On the ocassion of 'Guru pournima', we have our annual performances by students where the 'Urja' is projected as an obesaince to our great Gurus and our Parampara.
We have been arranging yearly music baithak programs every Diwali in our space, encouraging upcoming artists and truly look forward to the day our students perform here with their 'Urja'.
Our students have been appearing for the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyala exams over these years and have continued to maintain their performance throughout.
Tabla Riyaaz sessions conducted every year is what our students eagerly look forward to.
Our gratitudes to the science and technology that we could  maintain our teaching tradition online, during the pandemic times.
